Be a Muslim that wants to pray, not one that thinks he has to. There’s a massive difference between the two.
When people say ‘This is my baby,’ they don’t always mean a baby. Sometimes they mean a dog.
Sorry for the late reply. You just had a lot of questions. And can I just say I’m not a scholar at all so…yeah
If anyone wants to add anything please do and if I’ve said something wrong please do correct me 😊
Allah condemns homosexuality explicitly in the Qur’an: “Do you approach the males of humanity, leaving the wives Allah has created for you? Nay, You are a people who transgress.” (26:165-166)
Reality is that this life is a test. We are reminded time and time again And as time progresses, the temptations and fitna are increasing. If you were to look at the world 100 years ago and compare it with how it is today, you would see a significant difference.
For one, society has become more sexualised, public nudity and acts that were once considered immoral have now become the “norm”. And as Muslims, who follow teachings that are in essence timeless, it becomes hard, extremely hard, to find a balance.
“A person is not to be blamed for his nature. Rather, he is to be blamed if he acts according to his nature.”
Al-Junayd in ‘Hilyat al-Awliya
No one is born to be homosexual, the first people who committed this crime were Lot’s people:
We also (sent) Lut: he said to his people: “Do ye commit lewdness such as no people in creation (ever) committed before you?
"For ye practise your lusts on men in preference to women: ye are indeed a people transgressing beyond bounds."
And his people gave no answer but this: they said “Drive them out of your city: these are indeed men who want to be clean and pure!”
But We saved him and his family except his wife: she was of those who lagged behind.
And We rained down on them a shower (of brimstone): then see what was the end of those who indulged in sin and crime!
(Al-Araf, ayat 80-84)
If homosexuality is a natural thing, Allah wouldn’t punish them such punishment:
But the (mighty) Blast overtook them before morning,
And We turned (the Cities) upside down, and rained down on them brimstones hard as baked clay.
Behold! in this are Signs for those who by tokens do understand.
Every Muslim is better than me and every non-Muslim has the potential to be better than me
When is a monster not a monster?
Oh, when you love it.
